Flower trends to look for in 2023

It’s fair to say that flowers are a safe bet, whatever the situation. Nothing is more heartening than being gifted a bouquet of fresh flowers. We all love to feel cared for, and flowers can often be the perfect way of saying “I see you”. So, what are some of the top flower trends for 2023?

Dried flowers still popular

Dried flowers really took off in 2022, as people saw the benefit of having flowers around the home that last and last. 2023 will bring more pressed flower creations as well as a continued call for dried flowers. So, pull out your flower presses, or let us do the hard work for you.

Pinks and purples

We’re seeing a trend towards pastel colours in general, but specifically lavenders and pale pinks. Lavender may be popular with bumble bees, but it’s also a popular choice with us and for 2023. And, of course, there’s the added bonus of the incredible scent.

Plants

Flowers and plants have more benefits than just making us feel good and bringing joy to our lives. They are experts at absorbing carbon dioxide and turning it into oxygen. 2023 will see the love turning more and more towards succulents, ferns and the like. With a stylish pot for the plant to go in, they make the perfect gift. And they’re great for the planet, too!

Share the love

We’ve had a big few years from 2020 to 2022 with Covid, so as people start to live their lives more ‘normally’ (if that’s even a ‘thing’ these days), they will want to live with passion! So, to match this energy and vibrancy, we are going to be seeing lots of reds in the floral industry. Giving their all and playing full out, we love the vitality and joy of red flowers.
